Flag Day at The Memorial

Sunday, June 14, 2026

Flag Day is a holiday celebrated on June 14 in the United States. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.

Come watch the Scouts of America lower the old flags representing all the military branches and the United States and raise the new ones.

At the CVMF Memorial next to City Hall at 1 PM.

These enhanced features represent CVMF's progress towards our 20th Anniversary in November 2027. Our vision includes adding a Soldier's Battle Cross Monument and a Reflection Bench, among other enhancements. As you can imagine, these efforts tax the resources of a small yet dynamic organization like CVMF, so we need your help to complete the job.

Your assistance is sincerely appreciated.
