Veterans Day Celebration

Make sure to engrave November 11, 2026, on your calendars, as CVMF will celebrate its 19th year of honoring our veterans. You can mix and mingle with local dignitaries, military brass, and fellow citizens who respect our vets.

We are pleased to announce that Santa Clara Supervisor Otto Lee will be our Keynote Speaker. West Valley/Mission College Chancellor Brad Davis will acknowledge deserving scholarship winners, State Senator Dave Cortese will add local gravitas, and Campbell Mayor Don Furtado will kickstart the festivities.

As always, you will enjoy festive music performed by the Del Mar High School Orchestra, the Pledge of Allegiance by the Scouts of America, and the Posting of the Colors by the Del Mar Marine Corps ROTC Color Guard.

11/11/26 at City Hall, from 9 AM - 10 AM

Veterans Champagne Gala

Join Us in Saluting Our Veterans!

CVMF invites you to our Sweet and Savory Champagne Gala Brunch as we prepare to celebrate our 20th anniversary year.

Enjoy a memorable gathering featuring delicious food, champagne, music, prizes, and a chance to meet long-time CVMF supporter and former Congresswoman Anna Eshoo as our headliner. That's good company, for sure.

Most importantly, your participation will help CVMF continue honoring veterans, supporting veteran students, and preserving their legacy for future generations.

Saturday, November 14, 2026

10:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Tickets: $100 per person

Raise a glass with friends, neighbors, veterans, and community leaders as we honor our past and inspire our future.

Campbell Heroes Project

CVMF is pleased to announce a grand partnership with the Campbell Historical Museum to showcase Campbell's military heroes in 2027. This project will display historical materials, including photographs, biographies, uniforms, and other artifacts that reflect the military heroes of Campbell who served this nation.

And you can help tell these great stories.

Please send pictures, mementos, and related items about your hero(s) who served during the Vietnam War, the Gulf Wars, or current military operations. More information will be coming in this publication over the next few months.

Adios Audrey and Perry

All good things end. CVMF waves a heartfelt goodbye and best wishes to long-time Campbell residents and CVMF supporters, Audrey and Perry Kiehtreiber. They're embarking on a new set of adventures as they move house, home, and three cats to Nashville, TN. While Nashville doesn't boast year-round great weather like Campbell, it does have some of the best BBQ joints in the US, Dollywood, and much lower taxes, y'all.

Best of luck in Nashville, guys. Come and visit us sometime.

Help Vets Overcome Food Insecurity

Eat Happy Now began with a simple question: What if good food headed for the landfill could instead reach people who need it? That idea grew into a tech-enabled food rescue organization that provides surplus food from restaurants, grocery stores, food banks, shelters, and affordable housing organizations.

Eat Happy Now needs volunteers to support their noble cause of helping people and needy veterans get nutritious, safe food. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Oktoberfest

Visit the CVMF team at our booth during Campbell's Oktoberfest.

Chomp on a bratwurst, stay for the beer, and stop by our booth to say hello. We promise not to make you march in formation, salute, or do push-ups. Just bring your Oktoberfest spirit and a healthy appetite.

Lederhosen are optional. Good cheer is strongly encouraged!

We’ll see your face in the place on October 17 and 18!

CVMF can only survive and fulfill our Mission by receiving your support. We have lots to do and need your help to get it done.

Thanks in advance.
